Village Voice's "Choice Eats 2014"

Basketball City, Pier 36, South Street, New York will never be the same.  This year the Village Voice's "Choice Eats 2014" will take over this phenomenal state of the art  venue, bringing more then 75 hand picked restaurants from across the boroughs. Growing out of the 69th Armory, where in the past it has been held, will bring more attendees, restaurants, along with culinary demos, and much, much more..

  This is not just a sampling of food, this is a cultural event of unique fare to sweet treats all brought together with cheer from Stella Artois, Barefoot Wine & Bubbly, and Bluepoint Brewing Company, just to name a few.

   Brooklyn indie-rockers DIIV will be in the house to DJ, bringing his sound downtown as it fills this transformed venue of seven basketball courts to an exclusive event space as the crowd makes their way through noshing on every bite.

The Village Voice just announced the return of their next foodie event, the third annual "Choice Streets" Food Truck Tasting Event, set to be held on Wednesday, May 7th from 7:00-11:00 (Rain Date; May  9th).  Set amid the backdrop of the New York Landmark-Pier 86 of The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.  Attendees will feast and enjoy an evening of fabulous food and drinks with an amazing view of New York City.
